Born in Palermo in 1984 got a classic education and after 9 years he's still trying to find the time to finish the University (foreign languages and web communication).
A lover of photography since the age of 11 begins to realize the first video at 14 with his dad's videocamera.
In 2001 during a visit in Sarajevo made his first video "
Sarajevo's Rose", presented in Germany the following year, and then begins to travel the world searching of news, reports and stories to tell.
After a series of minor works he shot the documentary "The windows of Beslan" (2005, 52 min) with fellow director Martin Lo Cascio. The documentary (DOC ITALY special mention Libero Bizzarri 2006) is still considered the only independent investigation on the massacre.
He writes reportage in several different areas of the world, North Ossetia, Cuba, Bosnia, Western Sahara, a few published on peacereporter.net.
He made some backstage inside the complicated fashion environment for Yamamay, Diana Gallesi,
VOGUE ITALY.
In his city he made several documentaries for social associations, NGOs (CISS), schools, offices (Dept. of Criminal Mediation Palermo) sport clubs (Sharks Palermo, Palermo CUS) and works with film and TV productions for Herman Film, Chico Paladino Productions.
In 2009 he started making the documentary "The Y 10 Diaries," a trilogy of works that tell the world tour on a very old car undertaken with his friend Paul Belarducci.
The Y Diaries EPISODE I shot at the 2009 Mongol Rally won the first edition of The adventurists film festival in London.
He is currently working on the episode II, shot in Africa in February 2010.
In September 2010 he founded the
ALCOLICA CREATIVE AGENCY, with his friend Alessandro Albanese graphic designer and the programmer Vincenzo Bonura.
His main aim right now is increasing the production of promotional videos and living adventures in crazy areas of the world for his biggest project: Alcolica ON AIR.
